This year will mark the first year of our new Philanthropy event benefitting the Boy's and Girl's Club of America. Sororities will be participating in a softball tournament and several smaller events including: trivia night and a karaoke night. We donate money raised by this event through participation fees and by having several local and national sponsors such as the University Bookstore and Jamba Juice.

Loyal Heights Elementary |
| Every week we travel up to Ballard to volunteer with Loyal Heights Elementary School. On Monday we assist with Math Club
where students participate in games that teach them the basics of math. Tuesday is Chess Club, here we help students from 1st
to 5th grade either lean to play chess or, for the advanced students, learn more intricate strategies. Finally starting
spring quarter we will be running a Sports Club on Thursdays. In this club we play athletic games (e.g. Basketball, Soccer,
Kickball, ect...) for the students. |

Adopt-A-Highway
|
|
Every quarter we make sure that our section of the highway (I-5, from 85th to Northgate
Way traveling north) Is clean. It gives us great pride as a fraternity to know that we
are making the area in which we live a nicer place to be. |

Sorority Philanthropies
|
|
As a fraternity we participate in numerous sorority philanthropies. This last fall we
participated in the Delta Zeta football championship called "Shell Shocked". We also participated
in Zeta Tau Alpha's "Crown Cup" which is a series of events that lasted
a week including eating contests, a field day, soccer, and a talent show. Next we
participated in "Mr. Greek" which is put on by Alpha Gamma Delta. Our representative
did a great job raining money for The Teahouse foundation (which benefits foster children)
and he put on quite a show at their talent show. We also took part in Sigma Kappa's King of the Castle philanthropy. Lastly in
the spring we have a representative getting ready to participate in Delta Gamma's
"Anchor Splash" so we wish him luck.
